Summary
Our Global Services Finance Team is growing and we are looking for people with strong accounting and finance backgrounds. We provide outstanding efficient financial services and compliancein a J&J wayto our Operating Companies around the world.
The Finance and Accounting team is responsible for the complete and accurate accounting for all the general process flows for the Balance Sheet and Income Statement. This role will provide exposure across different accounting processes within J&J and the opportunity to observe various teams as part of the onboarding. We look forward to working with strong individuals who are agile in learning new processes and adaptable to the varying business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments fully observing compliance internal audit & SOX requirements.
Accountable for completeness accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process scope.
Knowledge of the worldwide policies and procedures identify compliance risks and recommend solutions.
Regular focus on balance sheet reconciliations to minimize open items
Analyze and resolve issues.
Communicate with stakeholders
On the job training for new team members and partners.
Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities to achieve adequate internal and external audit ratings.
Implement global strategy & solutions in line with taxonomy.
Support Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Operational Key Contacts (OKCs) to ensure cross sector cross region and cross process alignment - ensuring documentation is maintained and consistent to the global approach.
Generate ideas cultivate and implements continuous improvement mentality identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities.
Qualifications:
0-4 years of professional experience is required. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Learning agility and adaptability to different business requirements. These competencies are critical as this role will initially be part of the finance & accounting teams pool of flex talent during onboarding to be deployed to the permanent position once readiness criteria are met and as requested by the business units.
Flexibility to be assigned in different shifts to support J&Js global services
Filipino citizen or holder of residence status to work in the Philippines
Bachelors degree in Accountancy or any finance and accounting related courses
Strong team working and relationship building skills
Ability to communicate well to team members at any level
Good analytical proficiencies
Ability to prioritize own deliverables and motivated to meet timetables
Knowledgeable of general accounting concepts rules and legal requirements
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel Outlook Powerpoint Word)
Willing to work in Parañaque City and open to travel for business/training (as the need arises)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) a plus
Experience with SAP or other ERPs an advantage
Experience in a shared services center of a multinational corporation desirable
US GAAP accounting knowledge preferred
