As a Software Engineer III DevOps / Python / AWS at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank you will serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable manner. You will be responsible for implementing critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives. Our main goal is to automate processes within the European Legal Entity JPMSE by leveraging AWS Cloud and AI solutions. You will be part of a highly qualified team that will enhance your knowledge while implementing cutting-edge solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop secure and high-quality production code and review code written by others.
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native software solutions using modern technology stacks to deliver highly available performant and resilient products.
- Have a solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD Application Resiliency and Security Clean Coding Object-Oriented Programming Jira.
- Create RESTful APIs that are scalable secure and efficient.
- Develop innovative AI/ML solutions and agentic systems for our LLM Suite platform utilizing public cloud architecture and modern standards specifically with AWS
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design application development testing and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages including Python (FastAPI) and AWS (EC2 ECS EKS Lambda SQS SNS RDS Aurora MySQL & Postgres DynamoDB EMR and Kinesis).
- Experience with Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL).
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.).
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Docker and Kubernetes.
- Good to have LLM Experience: OpenAI AWS Bedrock and Agentic AI.
- Good to have Automation Experience.
