SS&C GIDS provides information processing and computer software services and products. The Companys operating segments include financial markets customer management professional services and output solutions. SS&C GIDS serves the alternative investments asset and wealth management banking and lending insurance and real estate industries.
What You Will Get to Do:
- Incident response for production hosted environments
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance to ensure stability and availability.
- Respond to and resolve production incidents quickly performing root cause analysis where necessary.
- Execute deployments and configuration changes in production and non-production environments following change management processes.
- Communicate effectively with development operations and business teams to provide updates and coordinate resolutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents fixes and operational procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
What You Will Bring:
- IT degree or equivalent experience
- 4 years experience working in an Application Support role
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and methods
- Working knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies
- Experience working with ITIL based processes
- Understanding of hosting production environments on AWS and Virtual Environments
- Advanced knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery build pipelines
- Experience working with infrastructure as code
- A passion for automating manual processes
