Position Description:
Cigna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Front-End Developer () to design build and optimize scalable and secure applications that leverage large healthcare datasets. You will collaborate with cross-functional data engineering and analytics teams to create intuitive high-performance interfaces that support critical business insights and innovation.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust front-end applications using and modern JavaScript frameworks
Translate business and data requirements into responsive user-friendly UI components
Integrate complex healthcare datasets with clean efficient API consumption
Ensure security performance accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
Work with product data and UX teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
Debug troubleshoot and optimize code for scalability and efficiency
Follow best practices for version control architecture and CI/CD development workflows
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must to Have:
Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript HTML5 CSS3
Experience in building reusable UI components and managing app-wide state (Redux/Context API)
Knowledge of RESTful APIs JSON data handling and asynchronous programming
Experience with Git and modern build tools (Webpack Babel NPM/Yarn)
Ability to work with large datasets while ensuring data privacy and security compliance (healthcare focus a plus)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment
Good to Have:
Healthcare domain knowledge (HIPAA compliance PHI handling)
Experience with AWS/Azure or other cloud platforms
Familiarity with visualization libraries ( Recharts etc.)
Understanding of automated testing frameworks (Jest Cypress RTL)
Knowledge of UI/UX principles and tools (Figma Adobe XD)
CI/CD pipeline knowledge (Jenkins GitHub Actions etc.)
