Job Summary
As a Cost Manager you will oversee and manage all cost aspects of investment projects and repairs ensuring cost control forecasting and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills a keen eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers finance teams contractors and stakeholders to optimise costs and maximise profitability.
Qualifications :
As Cost Manager you will
- Develop implement and maintain cost control systems to monitor and report Investment Project and Repair Costs.
- Analyse contractor and supplier pricing submissions to ensure value for money and alignment with the schedule of rates.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates budgets and forecasts for projects (repairs).
- Track and report on cost performance identifying risks variances and opportunities for savings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate project costing and service delivery.
What youll bring
- Strong understanding of cost control techniques and audit procedures.
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Proven experience in cost management cost control or financial analysis within relevant industries.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and contract management is a plus.
