Role Overview
As a Scrum & Release Manager you will play a pivotal role in leading Agile delivery teams while ensuring the smooth release relating to Oracle E-Business Suite projects changes developments and patching. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies coach teams in Agile best practices manage customer relationships and oversee the end-to-end release lifecycle. This role requires a blend of technical delivery expertise people management and commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery & Scrum Leadership
- Promote high-quality delivery and adherence to Definition of Done.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning daily stand-ups reviews and retrospectives.
- Coach and guide development teams on Scrum Lean and DevOps principles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritise requirements translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain and prioritise the product backlog to maximise value.
- Drive continuous improvement and accountability within teams.
- Monitor project and squad performance using data metrics to measure and improve delivery.
Release Management
- Own the release lifecycle for Oracle EBS deployments ensuring timely and high-quality defect free deployments.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and customers.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships driving high satisfaction and engagement.
- Communicate progress risks and dependencies effectively
- Work closely with Product Owner Development Team and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Explore and drive opportunities for new and additional work within existing accounts.
People & Resource Management
- Forecast team costs and resource management and project revenues
- Collaborate with other team leads to identify resourcing issues and cross-team opportunities.
Qualifications :
- Demonstrated leadership in Agile delivery and service management.
- Extensive experience managing product backlogs development teams and release cycles.
- Professional Scrum Master or Product Owner certification.
- Strong customer service relationship management and communication skills.
- Experience with DevOps and digital collaboration tools (e.g. Miro).
- Strong analytical commercial and business acumen.
- Experience with Data and Power BI is a plus.
- Experience in cratering and managing project plans Acceptance Criteria and Transition plans
