ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
You are responsible for new product development new technology development and the localization of raw materials for the Industrial Tape business.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Lead and coordinate product development initiatives ensuring new or localized products achieve design objectives and comply with relevant standards within agreed timelines.
Work closely with procurement and material suppliers to identify source and qualify new raw materials for product development.
Focus on designing and implementing manufacturable and functional PSA tape solutions.
Provide essential engineering support during the transition of new products to production ensuring successful handover.
Collaborate with application technical service marketing and sales teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of market trends customer needs and product application requirements translating these into precise product specifications.
Establish and document thorough product and performance requirement specifications to guide component and construction development and serve as benchmarks for final project evaluation.
Possess detailed knowledge of adhesive and related testing methodologies material characterization techniques and simulation.
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams leveraging regional and global material science expertise and R&D resources across business units to deliver innovative products and solutions.
Adhere to all company Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Complete all required EHS training and pass evaluations prior to onboarding.
Maintain a strong focus on laboratory safety throughout the product development lifecycle.
Possess a solid understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
Be familiar with quality system such as IATF 16949 and quality related tools APQP PPAP MSA FMEA and SPC.
Qualifications :
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Experience with adhesives and resins used for PSA tapes in Industry market.
Experience with formulating adhesives DOE design and data analysis and new product development
Experience with lab equipment and testing for PSA tapes
English skills in writing and speaking
EDUCATION:
Master degree 8years in field of polymer science chemistry or related PHD is preferred.
