Human Resources Business Partner (maternity leave replacement 15 months)

Position Description:

The incumbent acts as a trusted business partner responsible for providing leadership HR guidance and consultation to the management team of their business unit supporting them in achieving organizational objectives.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Act as a strategic partner and trusted HR advisor for assigned client groups helping them design develop and lead their teams.
- Provide guidance across all key HR areas in alignment with HR policies services and programs.
- Ensure compliance with employment standards legislation and corporate policies to achieve operational excellence.
- Design and implement strategies to develop skills and maximize team performance.
- Lead multiple HR initiatives and projects at the business unit level and contribute to national HR initiatives.
- Establish tracking measures and action plans and provide performance analysis of key HR indicators to business unit leaders.
- Ensure the quality and effectiveness of HR policy program service and change initiative implementation.
- Promote a positive and inclusive employee experience throughout the process and act as an ambassador for CGI.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- Bachelors degree in a field relevant to human resources management.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a high-performance fast-paced environment.
