Job Summary

Cabonline Technologies is looking to expand and we are now searching for a Back-End Developer with Java experience.

Job overview:

The Backend Developer is responsible for participating in the design development and maintenance of scalable backend systems that support Cabonlines software platforms. This role collaborates closely with product owners developers architects and business partners to deliver robust and efficient solutions that align with the companys long-term technology strategy.

As a Backend Developer you are expected to contribute to a collaborative agile and high-performance development environment. You work as part of a dynamic and cross-functional team helping deliver stable secure and scalable solutions that support business goals. You are proactive in technical discussions committed to quality and always looking to improve systems and processes through innovation and best practices.

Main Tasks:

Participate in development projects in collaboration with the development team product owners and business stakeholders.
Contribute to team planning meetings and engage in technical discussions regarding feature development and architecture.
Collaborate with the architecture team to help define and implement the strategy and vision for Cabonlines software platforms.
Maintain and update existing automated tests to ensure code quality and performance.
Ensure clean well-documented and maintainable code aligned with best practices and internal standards.
Work in a cross-functional environment with colleagues from other departments and international teams across group companies.

Qualifications:

6 years proven experience in backend development with Java ( at least 3 years using Sprint boot framework).
Experience working with APIs databases (Postgres MongoDB) and cloud-based environments (e.g. AWS Azure or GCP).
Experience with microservices architecture CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes EKS).
Strong understanding of software design principles architecture and system integration.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and version control systems (e.g. Git).
Agile team experience (Scrum or Kanban) is highly desirable.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural team.
Fluent English both written and spoken.
