The Governing Body of St Werburghs Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic friendly and highly organised Administration & Finance Assistant to join our busy school office.
This is a key role at the heart of our school community and we are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment has strong office experience and brings excellent numeracy literacy and ICT skills.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work closely with the School Business Manager and Home Liaison Officer providing high-quality administrative and finance support.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as the first point of contact for pupils parents staff and visitors ensuring a warm professional and informative reception.
Maintaining our Management Information System (Arbor) and processing finance orders (FMS).
Monitoring and reporting on childrens attendance and punctuality liaising with and supporting families to improve attendance across the school.
Managing sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Supporting a wide range of administrative tasks often to tight deadlines while handling changing priorities.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has essential office experience and strong ICT skills.
Communicates clearly and confidently.
Is highly organised and able to work independently using their own initiative.
Can handle confidential matters appropriately.
Enjoys working as part of a friendly dedicated team.
Hours of Work
This is a permanent position 38 weeks per year Monday to Friday 8:15am - 3:30pm.
