The Opportunity
Step into a role where technology meets operational excellence! As an IT/OT Support Specialist at Hitachi Energy youll be the go-to expert for onsite IT and OT support across factory and office environments. From troubleshooting critical systems to acting as the first responder for cybersecurity incidents youll play a vital role in keeping our operations secure and efficient. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
How Youll Make an Impact
- Provide onsite IT support for factory and office systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot IT/OT assets including kiosks printers and security systems.
- Act as first responder for IT/OT cybersecurity incidents.
- Apply security patches and remediation measures on critical assets.
- Monitor OT systems and report abnormal behavior.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure proper configuration and maintenance.
- Implement security measures under global cybersecurity guidance.
- Support collaboration tools and meeting spaces for seamless connectivity.
Your Background
- Formal IT qualification or completed IT apprenticeship.
- Minimum 2 years of professional IT support experience.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Proactive solution-oriented and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow MS Office 365 Windows iOS and asset management tools.
- ITIL 4 knowledge and Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
