The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Perform various welding processes (e.g. MIG TIG Stick) on metal components.
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols to determine project requirements.
Inspect finished welds for quality integrity and adherence to specifications.
Operate and maintain welding equipment ensuring proper functionality and calibration.
Prepare materials for welding by cutting grinding and cleaning surfaces.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures including wearing appropriate PPE.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and parts according to design specifications.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g. MIG TIG Stick)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols
Demonstrated knowledge of welding safety protocols and proper use of PPE
Physical dexterity hand-eye coordination and ability to lift/maneuver heavy materials
Relevant welding certification (e.g. AWS D1.1 ASME Section IX) or ability to pass a weld test

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with advanced welding techniques (e.g. orbital robotic specific exotic alloys).
Proficiency in fabrication tasks including cutting fitting and grinding.
Familiarity with quality control procedures and precision measuring tools.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and weld symbols.
