Key Responsibilities
- Perform various welding processes (MIG TIG Stick) according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment including welders grinders and torches.
- Inspect finished welds for quality compliance with standards and structural integrity.
- Prepare materials for welding by cleaning grinding and positioning components.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in multiple welding techniques (e.g. MIG TIG Stick).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- AWS (American Welding Society) certification or equivalent preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
- Advanced welding certifications (e.g. AWS D1.1 ASME Section IX)
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Experience with fitting fabrication and assembly prior to welding
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and visual inspection of welds
