We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Spring Lake that are seeking skilled Welders. Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG TIG Stick) on different materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols to determine specifications.
- Prepare materials for welding by cutting grinding cleaning and positioning components.
- Inspect finished welds to ensure quality adherence to specifications and detect defects.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment tools and personal protective equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations procedures and quality standards.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to design specifications.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in MIG TIG and Stick welding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and welding symbols.
- AWS D1.1 or equivalent welding certifications.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Strong understanding and adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with multiple welding processes (e.g. TIG MIG Stick).
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and weld symbols.
- Forklift and/or overhead crane operator certification.
- Experience with metal fabrication and fitting.
