Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration on robotic systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot diagnose and repair complex electrical mechanical and software issues in industrial robots.
• Install configure and commission new robotic work cells and peripheral devices.
• Program and teach robot paths sequences and logic for manufacturing tasks.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance repairs and system modifications.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry standards during robot operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize robot performance and process efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics Mechatronics Industrial Automation or a related technical field.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience programming maintaining and troubleshooting industrial robots (e.g. FANUC ABB KUKA) in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in robot programming (teach pendant offline programming) calibration and complex system troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding and experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics mechanical blueprints and pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude for repair assembly and diagnostics of automated machinery.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming (e.g. Rockwell Siemens) for integrated system troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence) for robotic applications.
• Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) or other advanced robotics software platforms.
• Experience with industrial network protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP PROFINET) for automation systems.
