Key Responsibilities

Source screen and interview candidates for a range of manufacturing roles including production skilled trades and engineering.
Collaborate closely with manufacturing hiring managers to define job requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to offer ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Utilize various sourcing channels including job boards social media and local community outreach to attract manufacturing talent.
Conduct pre-employment assessments and coordinate background checks relevant to industrial environments.
Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Provide market insights and compensation recommendations for manufacturing positions.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience recruiting for diverse manufacturing roles (e.g. production engineering skilled trades operations).
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes terminology and talent market dynamics.
Demonstrated ability to source and attract passive candidates for hard-to-fill technical and skilled trade positions.
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruiting software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.

Bonus Qualifications

Familiarity with common manufacturing processes equipment or skilled trades.
Experience recruiting for unionized workforces or specific skilled labor roles.
Proficiency with HRIS/ATS platforms prevalent in large manufacturing (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors Workday).
Basic understanding of safety regulations (e.g. OSHA) relevant to industrial environments.
