Key Responsibilities
- Source screen and interview candidates for a range of manufacturing roles including production skilled trades and engineering.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing hiring managers to define job requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to offer ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Utilize various sourcing channels including job boards social media and local community outreach to attract manufacturing talent.
- Conduct pre-employment assessments and coordinate background checks relevant to industrial environments.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Provide market insights and compensation recommendations for manufacturing positions.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience recruiting for diverse manufacturing roles (e.g. production engineering skilled trades operations).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes terminology and talent market dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to source and attract passive candidates for hard-to-fill technical and skilled trade positions.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruiting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with common manufacturing processes equipment or skilled trades.
- Experience recruiting for unionized workforces or specific skilled labor roles.
