Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials in-process production and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
Conduct various quality tests using precision measuring instruments and equipment accurately documenting all results.
Identify document and segregate non-conforming materials or products initiating appropriate corrective action processes.
Maintain and update quality records inspection logs and test data in compliance with company procedures.
Assist in the investigation of quality issues root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Verify the calibration status and proper functioning of inspection measuring and test equipment (M&TE).
Collaborate with production personnel to ensure understanding and adherence to quality procedures and standards.

Recommended Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or assurance role.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges CMM).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications.
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and basic statistical process control (SPC).

Bonus Qualifications

Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP) or advanced Excel for data analysis.
Previous experience participating in internal or external quality audits.
Calibration experience for measurement tools and equipment.
