Key Responsibilities

Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials in-process components and finished products.
Document inspection results accurately including non-conformances using specified forms and software.
Utilize precision measurement equipment such as calipers micrometers gauges and CMMs.
Identify quarantine and report non-conforming materials or products according to established procedures.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
Maintain and organize quality control records inspection logs and test data.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and specifications.
Understanding of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949) and quality standards.
Experience with root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data collection for quality reporting.

Bonus Qualifications

ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or similar certification
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP)
Experience with calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment
