The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials in-process components and finished products against specifications.
Utilize precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers CMM) to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
Document inspection results create quality reports and maintain accurate quality records.
Identify quarantine and document non-conforming materials and assist with root cause analysis.
Conduct various product tests and experiments according to established procedures.
Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
Support calibration activities for inspection and test equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges CMM).
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints specifications and GD&T.
Working knowledge of quality control principles statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.
Experience performing quality inspections and tests in a manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification.
ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification.
Experience with CMM programming or advanced metrology software.
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP).
Knowledge of specific industry quality standards (e.g. ISO 13485 AS9100).
