The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Perform dimensional visual and functional inspections of raw materials in-process components and finished products.
Document inspection results maintain quality records and generate non-conformance reports.
Operate and maintain various inspection equipment including calipers micrometers gauges and CMMs.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for identified quality issues.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and provide disposition for incoming materials.
Support the calibration and maintenance of quality control instrumentation.

Recommended Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree in a related field preferred
1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or inspection role
Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges)
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical specifications
Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

Proficiency in CMM programming (e.g. PC-DMIS Calypso).
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent process improvement experience.
Experience with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP).
Internal auditing experience (e.g. ISO 9001 AS9100).
