Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train a team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians.
• Ensure product quality meets internal customer and regulatory specifications.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.
• Develop maintain and enforce quality documentation procedures and work instructions.
• Oversee incoming in-process and final product inspection activities.
• Monitor key quality metrics and report on quality performance to management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing quality processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or control within a manufacturing environment including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949) and quality tools (e.g. SPC FMEA 8D PPAP).
• Proven ability to lead train and mentor a quality team fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related technical field or equivalent experience.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Lead Auditor certification (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949 AS9100)
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP)
• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. medical devices aerospace automotive)
• Familiarity with enterprise-level QMS or ERP systems (e.g. SAP QM EtQ Reliance)
