Key Responsibilities
- Develop implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards.
- Oversee all quality control processes including incoming in-process and final product inspections and testing.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances and customer complaints.
- Manage supplier quality programs including audits performance monitoring and defect resolution.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements industry standards and customer specifications.
- Plan execute and manage internal and external quality audits.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Analyze quality data and metrics reporting on performance and trends to management.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related technical field.
- Deep knowledge and practical experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949) including internal and external auditing.
- Proficiency in quality methodologies and tools such as Lean Six Sigma SPC FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing quality assurance teams.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Certified Lead Auditor (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949 AS9100).
- Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP).
- Experience implementing or optimizing digital quality management systems (DQMS).
