The successful Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer is one that is conscientious detail orientated and a self-starter able to work from a verbal or written instruction. They are committed to quality precision and timeliness in their deliverables. These deliverables are achieved while maintaining a safe and organized working environment.Job Description
- Final and in process inspection of tooling components and prototype parts using CMM and various gauges as required
- Ability to program and operate Zeiss CMM using Calypso software
- Ability to read blueprints and understand product specifications and requirements
- Ability to perform measurements of precision components to ensure specifications are met
- Ability to perform general shop math
- Ability to measure close tolerances
- Completion of customer inspection reports per instructions and requirements
- Performs preventive maintenance tasks as required
