Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet industry standards and regulations.
- Lead and manage all quality control activities including inspections testing and audits.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Oversee the investigation of non-conformances implementing robust root cause analysis and corrective actions (CAPA).
- Manage supplier quality programs ensuring materials and components meet specified quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant national and international quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze quality data and metrics preparing reports for management and stakeholders.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949).
- Proficiency in quality methodologies and tools such as Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing SPC FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong leadership analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g. ASQ CQM/OE Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP).
- Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g. AS9100 IATF 16949 ISO 13485).
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Lead Auditor certification.
