Key Responsibilities
- Develop implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures for manufactured products.
- Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances defects and customer complaints driving effective solutions.
- Implement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and implement process improvements for enhanced product quality and efficiency.
- Perform internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO) and internal quality management systems.
- Analyze quality data using statistical tools to identify trends measure performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Define and oversee product inspection and testing plans ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g. Industrial Mechanical Manufacturing).
- 2 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA SPC MSA 8D Root Cause Analysis).
- Solid understanding and application of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949).
- Demonstrated strong analytical problem-solving and statistical analysis skills (e.g. Minitab).
Bonus Qualifications
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g. Minitab JMP)
- Experience with a specific industry quality standard (e.g. ISO 13485 IATF 16949 AS9100)
- Working knowledge of ERP/MES systems (e.g. SAP Oracle)
