Key Responsibilities
- Develop implement and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
- Perform root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Utilize statistical methods to monitor process capability and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems and standards.
- Lead the resolution of customer quality issues and complaints.
- Facilitate the application of quality tools such as FMEA PPAP and APQP.
- Drive initiatives for defect reduction and process optimization.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA SPC MSA PPAP 8D problem solving).
- Solid understanding and application of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems (e.g. IATF 16949 AS9100).
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
Bonus Qualifications
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) or other advanced ASQ certifications.
- Proficiency with advanced statistical software such as Minitab or JMP.
- Experience with a major ERP system (e.g. SAP Oracle) for quality module management.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) for design review and tooling.
