The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for manufacturing processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor key process indicators (KPIs) and utilize statistical process control (SPC) to maintain and improve product quality.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues and reduce scrap/rework.
• Manage and resolve customer quality complaints driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO 9001) and specifications.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by establishing quality gates inspection methods and validation protocols.
• Maintain and update quality management system documentation and records.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Industrial Manufacturing Electrical) or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA SPC MSA PPAP APQP 8D Control Plans).
• Demonstrated experience with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949 AS9100 or ISO 13485).
• Proven ability to lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP) for process capability and data interpretation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP)
• Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g. ISO 13485 AS9100 IATF 16949)
• Familiarity with CAD software and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
