Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans procedures and standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality non-conformances.
• Perform internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends potential issues and areas for improvement.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introduction and process development activities.
• Manage the non-conforming material process including identification segregation and disposition.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in core quality tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA SPC MSA 8D PPAP APQP).
• Strong understanding and application of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949).
• Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certification (e.g. CQE CSSBB)
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP)
• Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g. IATF 16949 ISO 13485 AS9100)
