Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans for raw materials components and MRO.
Source evaluate and qualify new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing quality and delivery.
Negotiate contracts terms and pricing with vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
Manage and monitor supplier performance addressing issues related to quality delivery and compliance.
Oversee inventory levels to optimize stock and ensure continuous production minimizing waste and obsolescence.

Identify and implement process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives within the purchasing function.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience (5 years) in purchasing and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
Expertise in vendor negotiation contract management and cost reduction strategies.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and inventory management principles.
Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on strategic sourcing.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for spend analysis and supplier performance.
Experience with international sourcing and logistics including customs and trade compliance.
Fluency in a second language relevant to global supply chains.
