Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans and policies.
Source evaluate and select suppliers negotiating contracts and terms to optimize value.

Collaborate with production and inventory teams to optimize material flow and minimize stockouts.
Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality standards.

Recommended Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of progressive purchasing or supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven negotiation vendor management and contract administration skills.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for procurement and inventory management.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes raw materials components and MRO sourcing.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Operations or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience in process optimization.
Experience with international sourcing import/export regulations and global logistics.
Proficiency with advanced analytics tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for spend analysis and forecasting.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or experience leading complex supply chain initiatives.
