Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output targets and schedules.
Manage train and evaluate the performance of production line personnel.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and implement corrective actions for defects.
Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Monitor production metrics and prepare regular performance reports.
Oversee equipment operation maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience in a manufacturing production environment with prior supervisory experience.
Strong leadership and team management skills including motivating and developing production staff.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes quality control systems and safety regulations.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and other departments.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean/Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification.
Proficiency with manufacturing ERP/MES systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Plex).
Bilingual proficiency (e.g. English/Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. FDA Aerospace Automotive).
