The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate daily production activities to meet output and quality targets.
Supervise train and evaluate production staff managing schedules and performance.
Ensure adherence to quality control standards and implement corrective actions as needed.
Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular inspections.
Optimize production processes for efficiency waste reduction and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstock.
Collaborate with maintenance to ensure optimal functioning and preventative upkeep of machinery.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience (3-5 years) in a manufacturing environment with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong leadership and team management skills including training motivation and performance evaluation.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes safety regulations and quality control principles (e.g. Lean GMP).
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production issues optimize workflows and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration and cross-functional coordination.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification
Experience with common ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle)
Familiarity with automation and robotics in a manufacturing setting
Multilingual proficiency particularly in relevant local languages
