Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet output targets.
Lead train and manage production staff fostering a high-performance and safety-conscious team.
Monitor production processes ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Optimize production workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Manage production budgets control costs and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Coordinate with maintenance supply chain and quality control departments to ensure smooth operations.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on motivation and development.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes quality control and safety regulations.
Demonstrated ability to improve production efficiency and implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to optimize production operations.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite)
Experience implementing or managing automation technologies
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
