We are partnering with organizations in Manistee that are seeking Process Engineers. Key Responsibilities

Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency cost reduction and quality improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex process issues deviations and non-conformances.
Design develop and implement new manufacturing processes or process enhancements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation including SOPs flowcharts and control plans.
Analyze process data using statistical methods to identify trends root causes and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production R&D quality) on process integration and optimization projects.
Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with safety environmental and quality regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
3 years of experience in process optimization troubleshooting and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with process simulation software CAD tools and statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP).
Strong understanding and practical application of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA EPA) and quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001).

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Proficiency in PLC programming or SCADA system configuration
Experience with advanced process simulation software (e.g. Aspen HYSYS Arena)
Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and implementation (e.g. IoT AI/ML for process control)
