The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Plainwell that are seeking Process Engineers. Key Responsibilities

Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency cost and quality.
Design implement and monitor process improvements and new process introductions.
Conduct root cause analysis for production deviations and implement corrective actions.
Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation including SOPs and work instructions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process integration and project execution.
Perform process capability studies and statistical process control (SPC) to maintain quality standards.
Evaluate and recommend new equipment technologies or methodologies to enhance productivity and safety.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Mechanical Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
3 years of experience in a manufacturing process engineering role.
Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs technical drawings and process flow diagrams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP R Python)
Experience with PLC/SCADA systems or industrial automation
Familiarity with CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks) for process layouts or P&IDs
