Key Responsibilities

Oversee all daily manufacturing operations ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely.
Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity quality and cost-effectiveness.

Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations quality standards and environmental compliance.
Manage plant budget control expenses and identify opportunities for continuous cost reduction.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain maintenance and quality processes.

Recommended Qualifications

Minimum 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Business Administration or a related technical field.
Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proven ability to manage budgets P&L and drive operational efficiency.
Strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on safety and quality culture.

Bonus Qualifications

Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Experience managing a unionized workforce
Proficiency with advanced Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or specific ERP modules (e.g. SAP PP/QM)
Proven track record in successful capital project management
