Key Responsibilities

Oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize production output quality and efficiency.
Manage the plant budget control costs and identify areas for financial improvement.
Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations quality standards and environmental compliance.
Lead mentor and develop a high-performing team fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs for all plant machinery and equipment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and Lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational effectiveness.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience in manufacturing plant operations management.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage P&L budgets and operational efficiency.
In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent understanding of safety regulations and quality management systems.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Business or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Experience implementing advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g. IoT automation AI)
Fluency in a second language relevant to the workforce or international business operations
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Advanced degree (e.g. MBA Master's in Engineering Management)
