Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily plant operations to ensure production efficiency quality and on-time delivery.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production targets and business objectives.
- Manage the plant budget control costs and optimize resource allocation and utilization.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols quality standards and environmental regulations.
- Lead mentor and develop a high-performing plant team fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization Lean manufacturing and technology adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain maintenance and quality control processes.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations with at least 3-5 years as a Plant Manager.
- Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing principles continuous improvement methodologies and quality systems (e.g. ISO Six Sigma).
- Proven P&L management experience and a track record of developing and executing strategic operational plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Manufacturing Business Administration or a related technical field.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g. IoT advanced robotics AI-driven analytics).
- Proficiency in a second language relevant to the global supply chain or local workforce.
- Proven experience leading significant capital expenditure projects from conception to completion.
- Familiarity with environmental sustainability practices and waste reduction initiatives.
