Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations ensuring efficiency quality and on-time delivery.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
• Manage and lead production teams fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage the supply chain to ensure material availability and minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations quality standards and company policies.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g. engineering sales quality) to achieve overall business objectives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
• Proven track record of implementing and sustaining continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
• Strong understanding of production planning inventory management and supply chain principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead mentor and develop high-performing production teams.
• Experience managing budgets P&L and driving cost efficiencies within a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g. automation IoT robotics)
• Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience managing unionized workforces
