The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Norton Shores seeking Mechanics who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and repair production machinery and equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on manufacturing assets.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Install align and test new or overhauled production equipment.
Read and interpret technical manuals schematics and blueprints.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality procedures.
Fabricate and modify parts using various shop tools and welding equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in diagnosing repairing and maintaining industrial production machinery (e.g. conveyors presses pumps robotics).
Strong understanding of mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems including troubleshooting and repair.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
Adherence to safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe work practices.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an industrial mechanic or maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
Robotic maintenance and repair experience
Welding and fabrication skills
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
