Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies for optimal inventory management of raw materials WIP and finished goods.
Oversee the planning procurement storage and distribution of materials to support production schedules.
Collaborate with purchasing and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials at competitive costs.
Manage and optimize material flow warehousing operations and logistics within the manufacturing facility.
Utilize MRP/ERP systems to forecast material requirements track inventory and manage supply chain activities.
Analyze material usage identify potential shortages or excesses and implement corrective actions.
Lead and mentor the materials team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency in inventory control demand planning and material flow optimization.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Expertise in ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for materials planning and execution.
Excellent vendor negotiation and relationship management abilities.
Analytical skills for forecasting data analysis and problem-solving.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
Experience with advanced data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for supply chain optimization
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
