Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs.
Oversee the planning scheduling and procurement of raw materials and components to support production demands.
Manage warehouse operations including receiving storage material handling and shipping ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Lead and mentor the materials team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Collaborate with production purchasing and sales teams to ensure seamless material flow and on-time delivery.
Utilize and maintain ERP/MRP systems for accurate material planning tracking and reporting.
Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy on-time delivery and material cost.

Recommended Qualifications

5 years of progressive experience in materials management supply chain or procurement leadership within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for inventory control planning and procurement.
Demonstrated expertise in inventory optimization demand forecasting and production planning methodologies.
Strong leadership negotiation and communication skills with a proven ability to manage supplier relationships and cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Experience with advanced ERP/MRP system implementations or upgrades.
Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
