Key Responsibilities

Develop implement and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency quality and cost-effectiveness.
Design and procure manufacturing tools fixtures and equipment to support production needs.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing requirements and ensuring smooth transition from design to production.
Conduct root cause analysis for production issues implement corrective actions and preventative measures.
Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation including work instructions process flow charts and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
Collaborate with design quality and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and enhance product manufacturability.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) for designing fixtures tooling and process layouts.
Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma Kaizen).
Experience with process documentation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and production line balancing.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Experience with advanced manufacturing simulation software (e.g. Arena FlexSim)
Proficiency in programming for automation or data analysis (e.g. Python SQL)
PMP certification or demonstrated experience leading cross-functional manufacturing projects
