Key Responsibilities

Develop implement and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency cost reduction and quality improvement.
Design and improve tooling fixtures and equipment to enhance production capabilities and product quality.
Provide engineering support for new product introduction (NPI) ensuring manufacturability and smooth transition to production.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues quality defects and equipment failures.
Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation including work instructions process flow diagrams and standard operating procedures.
Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies equipment and materials to improve productivity and product performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design quality and production to resolve technical challenges and achieve operational goals.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
3-5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing principles Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) for fixture design tooling and process layout.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining assembly automation or welding.
Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions for production issues.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Proficiency in advanced data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI Python for data analysis)
Experience with automation and robotics integration
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience
