The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allegan that are seeking skilled Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities

Develop evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency reduce costs and improve quality.
Design validate and implement manufacturing tools fixtures and equipment.
Support the transition of new products from design to manufacturing ensuring manufacturability and smooth production ramp-up.
Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation including work instructions process specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Select justify install and qualify new manufacturing equipment and machinery.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g. machining assembly fabrication).
Experience with CAD/CAM software for design and simulation.
Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Familiarity with data analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Proficiency with advanced simulation software (e.g. Arena FlexSim)
Experience with robotics programming or automation integration
Strong data analytics skills for manufacturing process optimization
