Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency cost reduction and quality improvement.
Design procure and implement manufacturing tools fixtures and equipment.
Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation including SOPs and work instructions.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
Support new product introduction by ensuring manufacturability and smooth transition to production.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges and implement engineering changes.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focusing on process optimization and production support.
Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) for fixture design and process layout.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Experience with production equipment tooling and fixture design development and troubleshooting.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Experience with automation robotics or PLC programming.
Proficiency in advanced CAD/CAM software for simulation or tooling design.
Demonstrated experience leading manufacturing improvement projects.
Familiarity with ERP/MES systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) for production data analysis.
