Key Responsibilities

Develop optimize and document manufacturing processes for efficiency quality and cost reduction.
Design procure and implement manufacturing tools fixtures and equipment.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues and non-conformances.
Support the successful introduction of new products into manufacturing (NPI).
Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Create and maintain detailed work instructions process specifications and manufacturing documentation.
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks improve throughput and reduce scrap.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field
2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focusing on process improvement and optimization
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) for fixture design and process layout
Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
Experience with automation robotics and manufacturing equipment integration

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens Rockwell) or industrial robot programming
Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) integration
Advanced data analysis and visualization skills (e.g. Python R Power BI Tableau)
Familiarity with additive manufacturing processes and design for additive manufacturing
