The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency quality and cost-effectiveness.
Troubleshoot production issues identify root causes and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and defects.
Evaluate select and justify new manufacturing equipment tooling and fixtures to enhance productivity.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation including work instructions SOPs and process flows.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring manufacturability and smooth transition from design to production.
Analyze production data to identify trends monitor key performance indicators and drive process enhancements.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.
2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focusing on process optimization and continuous improvement.
Proficiency with CAD software for designing fixtures tooling and production aids.
Demonstrated knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Experience with advanced manufacturing simulation software (e.g. Arena FlexSim)
Proficiency in PLC programming or industrial robotics
Data analytics skills using tools like Power BI Tableau or SQL
