The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency cost reduction and quality improvement.
Design develop and implement manufacturing processes equipment and tooling.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions and process specifications.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Collaborate with design engineering on new product introduction to ensure manufacturability.
Evaluate and select new manufacturing equipment and technologies to enhance production capabilities.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Mechanical Industrial or a related engineering field
3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment optimizing production processes
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies
Experience with CAD software and manufacturing process design/simulation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis

Bonus Qualifications

Proficiency in a programming language (e.g. Python C#) for automation or data analysis.
Experience with advanced data analytics tools or building manufacturing dashboards (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
Certified Project Manager (PMP) or experience leading large capital projects.
Hands-on experience with robotics programming or advanced automation systems beyond PLCs.
