Salary Range: $72000 - $111000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Zeeland seeking Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

Develop optimize and maintain manufacturing processes for efficiency quality and cost reduction.
Design procure and implement manufacturing tooling fixtures and equipment.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues and non-conformances.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing requirements and processes.
Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of new products and design for manufacturing (DFM).

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in process optimization lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
Proficiency with CAD software for tooling fixture design and process layout
Experience with automation robotics and PLC programming for manufacturing systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including root cause analysis and statistical process control (SPC)

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
Experience with advanced automation robotics or additive manufacturing technologies
Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP) or data visualization tools
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
